Well, my initial poking around with Middlegen looks promising. I generated Hibernate files and POJOs using their sample project.
One issue though is that they haven't had a new release since 2004! I guess I shouldn't hope for a version of Middlegen that's based on the latest release of Hibernate.
I wonder if there's a code-generator similar to Middlegen for Python?
